Job summary
Bondex Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and optimize production equipment at our on-site facility.
You will organize daily activities, ensure safe operation, and drive reliability across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems. You will oversee preventive and predictive maintenance, supervise technicians, manage budgets, and coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance and uptime in a
Qualifications
- 8+ years of maintenance management and supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automation systems.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex machinery and equipment.
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics/*blueprints*.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
- Experience in nonwoven, textile, paper, or related continuous manufacturing processes is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance operations across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures to minimize downtime.
- Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support production goals.
- Manage budgets, inventory, spare parts, and contractors.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance.
- Analyze downtime data and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis.
- Support installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of machinery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
