Job summary

AdvanSix in Richmond, VA seeks a Maintenance Coordinator to partner with maintenance and reliability teams to improve equipment performance and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will manage work orders in SAP, coordinate contractor activities, monitor budgets, and mentor shift leaders. A mechanical engineering background and 5+ years in chemical manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing.
• 3 years of experience with maintenance coordination or planning.
• 3 years of experience working with circulating pumps, conveyors, elevators, and/or machinery operations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate, prioritize, and schedule scheduling Area maintenance needs.
• Create and manage Area work notifications in SAP.
• Coordinate capital contractor work with production and maintenance planning.
• Coordinate inspections and repairs to ensure Area PSM / regulatory / ISO compliance.
• Manage steam trap/leak program.
• Track equipment rotation and lubrication programs.
