Job summary

Werner Enterprises is offering a paid 11-week summer internship at our Corporate Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. The program provides dedicated job training, real-world experience, and opportunities to rotate through various business focus areas.

You will shadow leaders, analyze data, and participate in meetings to understand company-wide objectives. Housing assistance may be available, and some remote/off-site opportunities could be offered.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Pragmatic, analytical, mechanical-engineering type approach/background.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook email.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and collaborate with team members and leadership to understand operational workflows and departmental best practices.
• Analyze analytical data and innovation efforts to help identify potential improvements in business processes.
• Rotate through various focus areas to gain a wide understanding of the business, with the opportunity to deep-dive into one or two specific areas of interest.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to enhance understanding of company-wide objectives and decision-making processes.
• Support the maintenance and management of departmental items, including processes related to the large Werner HQ property and its various offerings.

Internship Overview:
