Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Bakery in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Assembler to assemble equipment, perform light repairs, lubricate machinery and document work. You will support production demands while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, adaptable, team-focused and able to work extended hours when needed, with experience in CMMS and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with any CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written form.
• Ability to work in cold temperature environments as low as -35 degrees.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble equipment to meet production demands.
• Lubricate equipment and perform machine inspections.
• Complete reports documenting work performed.
• Repair conveyor belts.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas.
• Provide suggestions to improve processes, procedures, and departmental operations in support of company goals.
• Follow all food safety standards and legal requirements.
• Maintain a positive and constructive work environment within the department and across other departments while promoting teamwork.
• Work safely and comply with all safety requirements.
• Participate in monthly departmental meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Maintenance Equipment Assembler performs general equipment assembly, as well as light repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, as directed by work orders, inspection lists, or the Maintenance Supervisor.
