Job summary

Watercrest Senior Living in The Villages, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee upkeep, support resident safety, and maintain a welcoming environment. You will perform routine building repairs, assist with housekeeping coordination, and contribute to a proactive turn process for occupied and vacant units.

The role requires servant leadership, the ability to follow safety procedures, and experience in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Two years in the senior living environment.
• Strong leadership potential with at least five years in hands-on building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Display Servant Leadership qualities and confident decision making.
• Walk through the interior and exterior to maintain appearance for residents, families, visitors, and associates.
• Inspect the front entrance daily to ensure visitors receive a great first impression.
• Perform general repairs (drywall, painting, doors) as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems.
• Assist with ordering supplies for maintenance and housekeeping needs.
