Job summary

Continental is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Lead in Maryland to ensure equipment reliability and safe, efficient manufacturing operations. You will drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, oversee TPM initiatives, and optimize maintenance planning with cross-functional teams.

You will develop maintenance engineers and technicians across shifts, coordinate responses to failures, and conduct root cause analyses to minimize downtime while managing budgets and equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading equipment improvement, refurbishment, modernization, and capital projects.
• Experience collaborating with international teams, suppliers, and stakeholders across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive, corrective, and planned maintenance to maximize reliability and production.
• Oversee inspections, lubrication programs, and maintenance documentation while driving improvements.
• Coach and develop maintenance engineers and technicians across all shifts for safety and excellence.
• Coordinate response to equipment failures ensuring timely diagnostics and repairs aligned with production priorities.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and recurring failures.
