Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a small team of salaried and hourly maintenance and technical employees.
• Establish maintenance priorities based on production requirements, equipment condition, reliability data, and business needs.
• Develop and continuously improve preventive and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
• Identify recurring equipment issues with Operations leadership and implement solutions to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues involving conveyors, piping, packaging equipment, and related systems.
• Plan and coordinate repairs, maintenance activities, and shutdown work to minimize disruption.
• Monitor maintenance performance and ensure documentation and compliance with standards.
• Lead capital improvement and equipment investment projects from planning through implementation.
• Oversee outside contractors and specialized resources as needed.
• Promote a strong safety culture with training, compliance, and accountability.
• Evaluate maintenance technologies and industry practices to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and change across the maintenance organization.
