Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer responsible for the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of the plant's rolling mill equipment. The role requires hands-on experience with melt shop and rolling mill systems, and the ability to install, commission, test, and maintain machinery across the line.

You will create 3D models, validate modifications, and coordinate maintenance outages using Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Oracle EAM while ensuring

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of steel rolling mill equipment.
• Experience installing, commissioning, testing, and maintaining mechanical equipment in melt shops and rolling mills.
• Ability to create 3D models and validate modifications using Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Oracle EAM for project tracking and data management.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on steel rolling mill equipment.
• Support installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of mechanical equipment across melt shop and rolling mill.
• Create 3D models of components and validate modifications using Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Coordinate outages, schedules, and work orders via Microsoft Project and internal systems.
• Maintain equipment master data and BOMs in ERP/CMMS software.
