Job summary

BiOrigin Specialty Products in East Hartford, CT seeks a Maintenance Engineer to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support safe maintenance operations across the mill. You will work with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and contractors to plan activities and drive reliability projects in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Prerequisites include a technical degree, 3–5 years in maintenance planning, strong analytical skills, and experience with CMMS and CAD tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering.
3–5 years in maintenance planning, scheduling, engineering, or related industrial environment.
Paper manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance and equipment reliability practices.
Proficiency with Excel; AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve reliability.
Plan daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance with Maintenance and Operations leadership.
Develop maintenance plans, work scopes, and job packages with the team.
Use CMMS to manage scheduling, inspections, and work orders.
Analyze equipment performance and maintenance history to identify improvements.
