Job summary

BiOrigin Specialty Products in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support safe, efficient maintenance operations across the mill.

You will work with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and contractors to plan activities, develop preventive and predictive plans, and manage capital and reliability projects to enhance equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in maintenance planning, scheduling, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in a continuous manufacturing environment; paper industry preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance and equipment reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance activities with leadership to optimize uptime.
• Create detailed maintenance plans, work scopes, and job packages for technicians.
• Use CMMS to schedule maintenance, inspections, and work orders.
• Analyze equipment performance and maintenance history to identify recurring failures and cost-saving opportunities.
