Job summary

BiOrigin Specialty Products in East Hartford, CT is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician (Maintenance Mechanic I) to support our paper mill operations. You will specialize in electrical systems, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain control and power distribution equipment across the plant.

The role focuses on controls and electrical systems (E&I), requiring hands-on electrical work, reading blueprints, calibrating VFDs, and safe, efficient maintenance to keep our manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical systems and control hardware in industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills for electrical and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair control systems and power distribution.
• Calibrate and tune Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Read blueprints and diagnose electrical issues across the mill.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure safety policies are followed.
