Zusammenfassung

Hormel Foods is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 across multiple locations, including Austin, MN, and 14 other sites. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting high-tech equipment maintenance, reliability improvements, and plant systems design while rotating through assignments.

You’ll work with full-time engineers, learn asset management, and develop leadership, analytical and communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Must graduate between December 2026 and May 2028 and major in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering field with a minimum 2.7 GPA.

Aufgaben

• Learn about Enterprise Asset Management software and assist with reliability improvements.
• Update engineering information on plant water and industrial sewer systems.
• Learn about system design and recommend improvements including water-saving and energy conservation.
• Update plant engineering information on compressed air distribution.
• Familiarize with design of plant air handling equipment and recommend air balance improvements.
• Supervise plant maintenance employees on a relief basis.
