Job summary

Biltmore Estate Inn is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II to handle interior and exterior upkeep, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry projects. You will work with the Engineering team to keep guest rooms and public areas in excellent condition and support preventative maintenance initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma, relevant trade skills and the ability to read blueprints. The schedule is generally 8:00am–4:00pm, Friday through Monday, with a flexible weekly

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; trade certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Experience with blueprints and preventative maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks.
• Inspect and maintain Inn facilities, fixtures and equipment to ensure safety and usability.
• Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and basic renovations as needed.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and compliant with policies; coordinate with supervisor.
