Job summary

Sholom Community Alliance in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II to help create a safe environment by maintaining buildings, grounds and equipment in a compliant, efficient manner. The role covers basic electrical and plumbing tasks to keep systems in good working condition.

Wage ranges from $24.87 to $30.30 per hour for 40 hours per week, with a 8:00am–4:00pm shift. Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years in maintenance, MN boiler license, and optional CPO

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of experience with mechanical equipment/maintenance required.
• MN Special Class Boilers License required.
• CPO license preferred (East Campus Only).

• Maintain buildings, grounds and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing or other craft work as needed.

SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Engineer II is responsible for creating a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices. The Maintenance Engineer II performs basic electrical, plumbing or other craft work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or building elements in good working condition.

Education, Experience and Credentials

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of experience with Mechanical Equipment and/or maintenance-related field required, preferably in a long-term care or housing setting.
• State of MN Special Class Boilers License required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license preferred. (East Campus Only)
