Sholom in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking a Maintenance Engineer II responsible for a safe, efficient building environment. You will perform basic electrical, plumbing, and craft tasks to keep systems and equipment in good working order. The role supports resident safety and operational reliability.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2+ years in maintenance or related fields, and MN Boiler license; CPO is a plus for East Campus. Competitive benefits are included.

About the Role

The Maintenance Engineer II is responsible for creating a safe and secure environment by maintaining the buildings, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices. The Maintenance Engineer II performs basic electrical, plumbing or other craft work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, or building elements in good working condition.

Job Specifications

• Wage: $24.87–$30.30/hour
• Shift: 8:00 am–4:00 pm
• Hours: 40 hours per week

Education, Experience, and Credentials

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of experience with mechanical equipment and/or a maintenance‑related field, preferably in a long‑term care or housing setting.
• State of MN Special Class Boilers License required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license preferred (East Campus only).

Compensation

Individual pay within the posted range may be determined by factors including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. The organization prioritizes pay equity and considers internal team equity when making an offer. Shift differentials may be available to increase pay rates for certain shifts or work.
