Aspen One is seeking a Maintenance Engineer I to handle general maintenance requests across hotel properties, including rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas. The role reports to the Director of Engineering and offers an hourly pay range of $21.00–$26.00 depending on experience.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and mechanical skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, or carpentry. The position requires some weekend work and a focus on safety and quality results.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years’ experience in mechanical fields such as HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, mechanical repairs, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of company's safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Completes tasks and goals efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to do basic problem-solving.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to and complete all general maintenance requests for rooms, public areas, meeting rooms, back of house, and exterior areas.
• Tape, spackle, and paint walls as needed.
• Promptly respond to guest room calls in a courteous manner.
• Ensure work orders are tracked, completed, and prioritized.
• Help plan and coordinate projects during the off season.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure OSHA/GHS compliance.
• Identify process improvements and best practices.
• Report safety hazards or suspicious activity to management.
• Monitor and maintain fire detection systems and assist in evacuations.
• Interact with guests daily and provide quality service.
• Other duties as assigned.
