Job summary
Loews Coronado Bay Resort is seeking an experienced Engineer I to perform skilled trade work across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. You will respond to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure guest comfort and safety throughout a 15-acre property with bay views and 440 rooms.
You should have 5+ years in hospitality maintenance, relevant technical training, and a commitment to safety. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring flawless facilities operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance or skilled trades experience in hospitality.
- Post-high school training in maintenance/engineering or equivalent preferred.
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trade certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled trade work in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Respond to maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergencies promptly.
- Monitor hotel systems and equipment for safety and performance.
- Complete maintenance records and documentation for all work.
- Assist in dispatching and supporting team operations as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
