Pyramid Global Hospitality's Boston Marriott Newton is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You’ll support the preventative maintenance program and work with a collaborative team to ensure reliable operations at a premier Newton property.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
• Engaging, welcoming personality with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, and air conditioning systems; switches, fixtures and motors.
• Repairs plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
• Repairs woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, etc.
• Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, and other equipment.
• Keeps records, logs completed tasks, and submits reports in a timely manner.
