Job summary

Hampton Inn Abilene is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to keep guest rooms and public areas in top working order. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and respond to equipment issues to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has hotel maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy objects while following OSHA safety practices.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in hotel maintenance or related field preferred.
Trade license (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) highly desirable.
Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections, repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other hotel systems.
Handle emergencies such as fire alarms and power outages with guest safety in mind.
Move and lift heavy objects, follow OSHA guidelines, keep work areas clean and safe.
