Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role supports our service culture by maintaining hotel facilities and guest rooms with a proactive maintenance mindset.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, electrical and HVAC upkeep, and timely response to work orders. A minimum of two years in hotel maintenance is preferred, with basic carpentry knowledge and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two years of hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, or technical disciplines is a plus.
• In‑depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry basics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the property grounds, public areas, and hotel guest rooms.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Paint, replace electrical accessories, and maintain HVAC systems.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain spare parts inventory.
• Respond to maintenance orders promptly and fulfill work orders.
• Complete daily rounds and identify/report problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
