Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Milwaukee to service multiple commercial properties. The role focuses on preventative maintenance and repairs to building systems to meet tenant and owner expectations.

You will oversee operations of boilers, MEPS, plumbing, fire life safety, and elevators, coordinate vendors, and ensure efficient facility performance across the greater Milwaukee area.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment.
• Minimum five years' experience in commercial or industrial building operations.
• Universal CFC, SMA, SMT, LEED certification, MECH certification, or others as applicable a plus.
• Good computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of energy management systems.
• Experience working within budget constraints preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
• Perform or oversee general building systems operations, including boiler, mechanical electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and elevators.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work.
• Perform general repairs/adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.
