Job summary

Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to keep a safe, efficient, and well‑maintained hotel environment. The role covers guest rooms and public spaces, with responsibilities across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and routine repairs.

You will perform preventive maintenance, operate equipment, and respond to repair requests while maintaining logs and coordinating with teams. A background in building trades and OSHA awareness is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, minor carpentry, lighting and computer skills.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Prior building maintenance experience and/or relevant technical training.
• Must be knowledgeable about using hand tools, power tools, and trade tools.
• Must have a working knowledge of general maintenance and repairs in at least one building trade.
• Must be familiar with OSHA Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment, maintaining domestic hot water systems and general maintenance.
• Make repairs to guest rooms and public spaces including kitchen, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing as needed.
• Clean and perform maintenance in engineering spaces and daily operations.
• Respond to and assist with guest room repair requests.
• Repair plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, plunging/repairing toilets, leaking spigots, faucets and pipes.
• Perform preventive maintenance on laundry and kitchen equipment including cleaning, lubrication, filter changes, and belt adjustments.
• Maintain daily shift logs of operation, maintenance, pool, spa, and safety activities; order tools and stock items.

Responsibilities

• Repair plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, plunging/repairing toilets, leaking spigots, faucets, pipe valves and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance with tools on laundry and kitchen equipment including cleaning and lubrication, filter changes, belt adjustment, etc.
• Maintain daily shift logs of operation, maintenance, pool, spa, and safety activities. Order necessary tools and equipment; maintain necessary stock items.
