Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts at Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa is seeking a dedicated groundskeeper to maintain outdoor areas, ensure safety procedures, and keep the property in pristine condition. You will operate equipment, respond to work requests promptly, and uphold professional standards in appearance and conduct.

The role requires physical fitness to move and lift weighted objects, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision while prioritizing guest satisfaction and safety

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a groundskeeper preferred.
• Ability to assist all guests with a friendly and outgoing demeanor
• Excellent organization, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate to heavy weight without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all outdoor hotel property (i.e. sidewalk, drives, parking lot).
• Keep the hotel property in good condition.
• Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
• Open and close work requests.
• Use moderate to heavy equipment to complete duties as assigned, i.e. leaf blower, power washer, etc.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.

• Safely climb ladders while carrying moderate to heavy weight. Wear personal protective equipment when required.
• Interior of hotel and in all areas of the property.
• Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
• Exposure to various cleaning chemicals.
• Power tools and general engineering tools.
