Job Description

To ensure a safe, efficient, well-maintained hotel environment.

Responsibilities

1. Schedule and complete equipment PMs.
2. Operate and maintain low-pressure boiler for the hot water system.
3. Operate and maintain other vessels as needed for hot water, kitchen steam, and air conditioning systems.
4. Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs of hotel property and equipment.
5. Repair and maintain commercial kitchen and laundry equipment.
6. Repair and maintain swimming pool and pool equipment.
7. Complete all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
8. Receive direction for house calls via radio.
9. Understand Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.
10. Understand Omni Hotel rules and regulations.
11. Follow OSHA rules and regulations.

Qualifications

1. Previous maintenance experience required; hotel experience and training preferred. Minimum of two years in hotel and/or commercial building maintenance required.
2. One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience is required; commercial refrigeration experience is a plus.
3. Experience in responding to emergency situations is required.
4. Good communication, attention to detail, time management, computer, and guest satisfaction skills are required.
5. Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
6. Ability to crawl for short periods.
7. Ability to bend, reach overhead, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
8. Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
9. Ability to use step stools and ladders.
