Job Description

Ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and perform equipment preventive maintenance (PMs).
  • Operate and maintain low-pressure boilers for hot water systems.
  • Operate and maintain other vessels for hot water, kitchen steam, and air conditioning systems as needed.
  • Assist mechanics and external contractors with repairs.
  • Repair and maintain commercial kitchen, laundry, swimming pool, and pool equipment.
  • Complete all assigned work orders and daily tasks.
  • Receive work orders via radio and respond accordingly.
  • Understand Omni fire alarm procedures and emergency protocols.
  • Follow Omni Hotel rules, OSHA regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • At least two years of hotel and/or commercial building maintenance experience; hotel experience preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience with commercial kitchen and laundry equipment; refrigeration experience a plus.
  • Experience responding to emergency situations.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and guest service skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach overhead, squat, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Use of step stools and ladders as needed.
