Job summary

Kampgrounds Of America, Inc. (KOA) is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the Middleborough, MA campground.

You will lead and assist a maintenance team to keep buildings, facilities, and grounds clean, safe, and in good working order, using carpentry, electrical, plumbing and related skills. You will troubleshoot equipment, interpret manuals and blueprints, and perform preventative maintenance while handling guest requests and daily work orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation.
• Basic knowledge of chemical properties, handling and usage.
• Basic knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance/repairs to campground buildings, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds.
• Comply with safety programs and guidelines per KOA and regulations.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program via regular inspections.
• Inspect equipment for heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Install new fixtures, equipment, and appliances as needed.
• Handle guest requests and maintenance work orders in a safe, efficient manner.
