Job summary

Riggs Washington DC is seeking a maintenance/engineer professional to warmly greet guests, respond to requests, and resolve maintenance issues across a historic hotel setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, and collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Bi-lingual is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, personable, sincere, and friendly manner.
• Respond and attend to guest requests.
• Communicate with guest to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel’s appliances and operating machines.

• Perform all other duties requested by Chief Engineer.
