Job summary

Orange Recruitment is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for our fast-growing nutraceutical manufacturing operation. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving issues on forming and packing machinery, with independence and proactive hands-on problem solving.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, minimise downtime, support equipment installations and ensure health and safety compliance while contributing to continuous improvement in production efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
• Essential experience with forming and packing machinery.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems proactively.
• Confident troubleshooting machinery issues without constant supervision.
• Experience in food, nutraceutical or pharmaceutical environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are a fast-growing nutraceutical manufacturing company looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone technically strong, proactive, and confident working independently to diagnose and resolve machinery and production issues.

The successful candidate must have proven experience working with forming and packing machinery. Experience within nutraceutical, food, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing environments would be highly advantageous, particularly with equipment such as filling, forming, capsuling, sealing, or packaging machines — although candidates from other manufacturing sectors with strong transferable experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
