Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Maintenance/Mechanical Engineer to join the site engineering team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across production lines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification and a background in production machinery, with a willingness to work a 12-hour rotating pattern covering days and nights. Safety-first mindset essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with production machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packing lines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support PM schedules and improve equipment reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment to meet hygiene and safety standards.
• Liaise with production teams to keep lines running efficiently.

Job description

I'm currently supporting a leading fresh food manufacturer supplying major national retailers, who are looking for a Maintenance / Mechanical Engineer to join their site engineering team.
