Description

Western Wisconsin Health is looking for a full-time Maintenance Engineer (1.0 FTE) to work in the Facilities department. The Maintenance Engineer performs a variety of maintenance duties in and around the buildings and grounds of the medical center and offsite locations tending to electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, med gas, building construction and grounds keeping. All of this is done to support the organization’s mission while living our values.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical degree in HVAC program or related program, journeyman status (years of experience may be considered in leu of technical degree)
• 5+ years HVAC installation/facility repair/facility maintenance experience
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of HVAC apprenticeship or trades related program
• Enrollment or Completion of commercial HVAC journeyman program
• Licensed HVAC Contractor, Electrician, Plumber, or related profession
• Experience in a health care environment or environment with infection control standards

Work Schedule:

• 1.0 FTE - 80 hours per biweekly pay period (Monday – Friday)
• Call rotation (every 5 th week)
