Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Milwaukee team.

The role involves servicing various commercial properties in the greater Milwaukee area, performing preventative and demand maintenance to building systems, and ensuring tenant and owner satisfaction with repairs and adjustments. The position requires a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience and at least five years in building operations.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in commercial buildings and equipment.
• Minimum five years’ experience in commercial or industrial building operations.
• Certifications such as Universal CFC, SMA, SMT, LEED, MECH are a plus.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and CMMS.
• Strong understanding of energy management systems.
• Experience working within budget constraints preferred.
• Boiler operator license preferred.
• HVAC knowledge and ability to perform adjustments/repairs.
• Experience in healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general building systems operations including boiler, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety and elevators.

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Milwaukee! This role will be going to and servicing various commercial properties in the greater Milwaukee area. Our Maintenance Engineers are responsible for executing and completing preventative maintenance, demand repairs, general repairs and adjustments to building systems, equipment and fixtures as required to the satisfaction of tenant and building owners.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building equipment and systems.
• Perform or oversee general building systems operations, including boiler, mechanical electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and elevators.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work.
• Perform general repairs/adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.

Job Requirements

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in the operation of commercial buildings and equipment preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in commercial or industrial building operations.
• Universal CFC, SMA, SMT, LEED certification, MECH certification, or others as applicable a plus.
• Good computer literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook and computerized maintenance management systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of energy management systems.
• Experience working within budget constraints preferred.
• Have a boiler operator license.
• Have a knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to make needed adjustments and general repairs.
• Microsoft 365 Software experience.
• Experience in healthcare environments.

Compensation

The rate is $33.00 - 37.00 per hour. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program. Eligibility: Position requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.
