Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Daytona Beach Shores is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Part Time) to perform the basic engineering, repair and maintenance tasks across guestrooms and hotel spaces. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, completing work orders, and supporting energy conservation initiatives.

You will assist with life/safety systems, including fire safety, elevators, emergency lighting, and related controls, while coordinating with management on projects and routine repairs to ensure

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders, monitoring progress and results.
• Undertake special projects as assigned by management.
• Support energy conservation initiatives across the property.
• Work on life/safety systems including fire safety, elevators, and emergency lighting.
• Maintain motors and control circuits where applicable.
• Coordinate proper trash removal and recycling processes.
• Assist with purchasing equipment and supplies and maintaining pars.
• Maintain in-room audio systems.

BASIC PURPOSE

Perform basic duties of engineering, repair and maintenance as directed by Management in guestrooms and all other hotel areas as needed.
