Athena Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to handle operation, maintenance, service, and repair of hotel equipment. The engineer will ensure guest satisfaction by performing preventative maintenance and responding to work orders in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate has experience in a hotel or related field, a high school diploma, and must be willing to work a varied schedule. This role requires physical stamina for lifting and performing various tasks around the property.
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment as assigned. The engineer participates in the preventative maintenance program and handles guest requests and other work orders. The engineer performs the job in a safe and efficient manner and performs trade jobs such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc. May be required to drive shuttle van when needed (property specific).
To perform the job successfully, the candidate must be able to stand and walk 90% of their workday. Lifting and carrying up to 65 lbs. may be necessary at times, and bending and stooping are required. The job is performed indoors in a well‑ventilated area.
