Title: Maintenance Electronic Technician

Location: Oxford, MS

Salary: Pay range starts at $28.12/hour to $36.00/hour depending on relevant experience and successful evaluations.

Schedule: 2^nd and 3^rd shifts

Focus

Maintenance Electronic Technicians need the ability to test and calibrate electrical/electronic systems and components to ensure proper operation. The role involves performing basic industrial electrical duties, including running conduit, pulling, and terminating wire following appropriate RCRA procedures.

Essential Job Functions

1. Fabricate, repair, replace, and maintain piping, pumps, valves, cylinders, flanges, and hoses using hand tools, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic tools.
2. Weld, cut, and grind equipment throughout the plant, including confined spaces, pits, trenches, and on cranes.
3. Install, set, align, and level new equipment.
4. Operate heavy machinery and industrial trucks; use precision measurement tools; repair belts, pulleys, and flywheels.
5. Perform general maintenance and repair on all machines.
6. Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment in the production area.

Position Requirements

1. Recent, continuous industrial electrical maintenance experience or Electrical Maintenance certification.
2. Demonstrated job stability.
3. Experience with hand and power tools.
4. Knowledge of NEC standards.
5. Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues with PLCs, motor control circuits, drives, proximity switches, photo eyes, and related components.
6. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and sketches for repairs and construction of electrical control panels.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Pass a physical, drug screen, and background check upon job offer.
3. Pass a functional physical test and use all safety and PPE requirements, including in extreme environments.
4. Lift up to 50 lbs.
5. Attend orientation and training on 1st shift; training may last up to 6 weeks before transitioning to 2nd or 3rd shift.
6. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
7. Access to ITAR-controlled data, contingent upon obtaining necessary export licenses.
8. Successful vetting as an Employee Possessor per US Department of Justice and ATF regulations.
