Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electrician for on-site maintenance at the Corteva location in St. Joseph, Illinois.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining electrical systems, performing troubleshooting, and ensuring safety program compliance across processes and facilities. The role requires NEC knowledge, Journeyman experience, and a strong commitment to health and safety. Overtime and weekend shifts are expected during peak production periods.

Qualifications

Journeyman electrician with field experience.
Ability to interpret NEC and electrical codes.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive a company vehicle.
Strong computer skills and aptitude for MS Office.
Physically capable of climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for long periods.
Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Record-keeping for equipment and prints, and adherence to safety policies.
Willingness to overtime and seasonal shift hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

Operate electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control devices for process and facility.
Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and inspections per guidelines.
Review and assist leaders with electrical safety program compliance.
Adhere to quality systems, safety procedures, OSHA/PSM, and Corteva safety policies.
Recommend improvements to electrical programs or process changes, including new devices.
Other duties as assigned.
