Job summary
Vylor, Inc. is hiring on-site at our Corteva location in St. Joseph, Illinois for an experienced electrician. You will operate, maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and control systems to support continuous production and safety.
The role requires a Journeyman Electrician with NEC knowledge, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP/PLC familiarity is a plus. Expect manual work, outdoor/indoor conditions, and potential overtime during peak periods.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician with NEC knowledge and strong safety focus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicle.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn company apps.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments.
- Able to work independently and in a team, with good communication.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control systems.
- Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections.
- Support electrical safety program and ensure compliance with OSHA/PSM.
- Recommend safety and process improvements, add new devices as needed.
- Carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned.
