Job summary

Pegasus Support Services, LLC seeks a General Maintenance Worker for the Hruska Courthouse in Omaha, Nebraska. You will perform general maintenance across trades, including electrical, carpentry, painting, and plumbing, ensuring reliable building operation and safety.

Responsibilities include replacing fixtures and components, patching walls, maintaining sinks and floors, door hardware, and routine equipment servicing.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years general mechanical, electrical, carpentry, or maintenance experience within the past 4 years.
• Completion of a technical/vocational school in general maintenance skills or comparable training may substitute.
• A valid Georgia Driver's License and ability to maintain military gate pass access are required.

Responsibilities

• Replaces electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Replaces filters, belts, etc.
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Paint structures and equipment.
• Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hang doors and install door locks; assist with lockouts, battery changes and rekeying cards.
• Replace broken windowpanes.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Maintain flexibility for on-call rotations, possible overtime, and weekend work.
• Perform other duties as required.
