Job summary

Schwan's Company in Florence, KY is hiring a full-time Maintenance Mechanic for the third shift. Starting pay is $32.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential. You will maintain and repair conveyor systems and food production machinery to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include welding, fabrication, setup/teardown of plant equipment, and documenting activities in SAP. Requires 3+ years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED, with a two-year maintenance trade degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in maintenance trade preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work full-time, overtime, or weekend shifts.
• Basic to advanced mechanical, electrical and building skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyors and production machinery.
• Perform mechanical repairs including welding, fabrication, and equipment installation.
• Set up, tear down, and modify plant machinery to support production needs.
• Diagnose issues using observation and precision instruments and identify root causes.
• Use SAP to document maintenance activities and communicate with teams to optimize workflow.
