Job summary

CJ Schwan's in Kentucky is seeking a maintenance technician for the 2nd shift. You will conduct preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and food production machinery to keep operations running smoothly.

You’ll perform complex mechanical repairs, assist with setup and welding, diagnose root causes, and document activities in SAP while collaborating with production and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and welding skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and food production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Carry out mechanical repairs including welding and replacement of parts.
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and installation of new/modified plant machinery.
