POSITION SUMMARY : Licensed Electrician or Journeyman Electrician.

RESUME REQUIRED

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant.
• Help maintain electrical equipment through preventive maintenance procedures.
• Assist in implementing new control systems.
• Research and develop better controls and electrical processes.
• Track and monitor recurring problems and provide solutions to correct them.
• Identify weaknesses in electrical systems and develop solutions.
• Understand the technical functionality of electrical equipment and train operators and maintenance technicians on operation and troubleshooting.
• Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining efficient production operations and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

EXPECTATIONS – All Team Members

• Observe and enforce all company policies related to personnel, quality, safety, and food safety.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
• Participate in process improvement and problem-solving using methodologies such as Six Sigma.
• Recognize and act on safety incidents and risks. Practice and enforce safe work habits and promote them throughout the organization.

EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS :

• Industrial Electrician License or Journeyman Electrician’s License with industrial electrical experience and extensive schematic reading skills.
• Additional electrical certifications, including technical college and manufacturing certifications.
• Preferred 3-5 years of documented experience.
