Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. Wakefield facility is seeking a Maintenance Electrician L1 to perform electrical/instrumentation maintenance and reliability tasks, ensuring safety and GMP standards are met. The role collaborates with plant teams to sustain asset health and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include PM/RCM execution, troubleshooting, and supporting repairs, with CMMS usage and adherence to safety as core values. Flexibility for weekend/holiday work is required at times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in electrical/instrumentation.
• 2 years of maintenance electrician experience.
• Electrical license or certification preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong administrative and follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical/instrumentation PM, PDM, and RCM tasks.
• Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and startups.
• Maintain safety and GMP compliance.
• Use CMMS to document reliability reporting.
• Support root cause analysis and asset reliability improvements.
• Work weekends/holidays as required.
