Job summary

Gehl Food & Beverage is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for 3rd shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Mon–Fri with overtime) in Wisconsin. The role focuses on maintaining electrical systems and production equipment in a safe, compliant food-manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot PLCs, read schematics, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support continuous operations. Requires a Journeyman Card or 4+ years of electrical maintenance experience and strong

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Card or 4+ years of relevant electrical maintenance experience (or equivalent military experience).
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, electrical controls, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety practices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Nice to Have: Associate degree in a related technical field, Journeyman Electrician Certification, experience with automated manufacturing systems, or knowledge of aseptic food processing.
