Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician – 3^rd shift

Location: Bartlett, Illinois

General Description

1. Conduct machine setup, inspection, preventive maintenance, and work order service.
2. Diagnose, repair, replace, and overhaul mechanical components of various equipment, including production, packaging, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and related software systems.
3. Provide emergency and scheduled repairs for production and facility equipment.
4. Possess mechanical troubleshooting skills across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems, including electrical panels.
5. Read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and perform related computer tasks.
6. Complete documentation related to job tasks, downtime, parts usage, and maintenance activities.
7. Troubleshoot, repair, and install low and high voltage electro-mechanical control systems.
8. Assist with system startups, configuration, wiring, calibration, and testing.
9. Follow safety procedures, work rules, and OSHA regulations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Experience, and Requirements

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Technical training with exposure to high-speed equipment.
3. 3-5 years of experience with packing and production machines, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
6. Flexibility to work weekends and various shifts.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., carry tools, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods.
