Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read/interprete electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
• Knowledge of N.E.C., OSHA guidelines, electrical/electronic test equipment, and programmable controllers
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and test mechanical equipment such as conveyors and packaging machinery
• Proper operation and shutdown of facility systems
• Proficiency in plumbing operations and pipe fitting tools
• Knowledge of laws and operational requirements by governing agencies
• Skills in electrical welding and mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to perform repairs under pressure and lift up to 80 pounds
• Willing to work overtime and flexible hours as needed
• Completion of powered vehicle training and certification maintenance every two years

Work Experience:

• Vocational/technical school graduate in electrical/electronic craft with at least two years of industrial electrical experience OR post-secondary education with four years of electrical experience in an industrial setting

Work Environment:
