Technical Metal Specialties is looking to expand their team at New Berlin, WI.

Shift & Compensation: 1st Shift/Full-Time: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. With experience, earn up to $31.00 per hour.

Job Summary: Performs a wide variety of highly skilled electrical and machine repairs and installations. Maintains structures, electrical systems, heating, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing control circuitry, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Working from schematic and ladder diagrams involving NC and CNC equipment.
• Moving and installing machine shop/fabrication equipment, including switches, controls, and electronic devices.
• Using electrical measuring equipment to diagnose machine failures.
• Diagnosing issues, repairing/replacing equipment, and communicating status to supervisors.
• Work subject to supervisor inspection and approval.

Qualifications:

• Electrical journeyman card, or Associate's degree in a related field with 6 months to 1 year of experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of single and 3-phase electrical systems, AC/DC circuits.
• Basic welding and machine shop skills for repairs and fabrication.
