The electrician is required to participate in the department's emergency maintenance rotation and may be called upon to assist with emergency maintenance needs outside of normal working hours, as operational needs arise, in accordance with departmental procedures.**Maintain Tools and Equipment** Regularly inspect all ministry-issued tools and equipment. Complete equipment repairs as needed, or notify the appropriate party for replacements.**Manage Lighting** Inspect and diagnose luminaire issues in both interior and exterior systems. Replace or repair any failed components.**Repair Electrical Devices** Handle any ministry requests regarding faulty receptacles, switches, plugs, connectors, etc. Replace or repair any failed components.**Maintain Electrical Circuits** Install all residential wiring and all types of flexible conduits, including simple conduit bending work.
