Qualifications

Maintenance Electrical & Instrumentation Technician Level II

Location: Mobile, AL

In this role, you will:
  1. Perform preventative, routine & troubleshooting maintenance in a high-speed manufacturing facility while ensuring a safe and multi-functional team environment.
  2. Read and effectively use electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single line diagrams and circuit diagrams.
  3. Diagnose and repair electrical power and control systems, D.C. and A.C. variable speed drives & servo drives.

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
  1. Are 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  2. Have a state or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  3. 1 year of continuous work experience.
  4. Completion of an approved apprenticeship program or technical associates degree, with a minimum of 24 months related industrial experience OR 5 years’ experience as an Industrial E&I Technician.
  5. Can read and use electrical schematics and diagrams.
  6. Able to diagnose and repair electrical power and control systems.
  7. Able to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends and overtime.
  8. Can pass post-offer / pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
  9. Can pass a pre-employment assessment and a pre-employment drug + background screening.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot and use analyzing techniques to identify and resolve failures when they occur.

Applicants with experience with high pressure natural gas turbines and heat recovery steam generator systems is a plus, as Kimberly-Clark’s Mobile, AL facility has expanded its operation to include steam and electrical power generation.

Starting Hourly Wage: $40.81USD

This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year.
