You will oversee contractors, read blueprints and repair manuals, and enforce Life Safety Code rules. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and hands-on expertise with tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Related degree from a technical college.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and repair manuals.
• Knowledge of Life Safety Code rules & regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Handle basic repairs and maintenance.
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Perform work related to patching, sanding, and painting.
