Job summary

Care Village West Roxbury in West Roxbury, MA is seeking a full-time Maintenance Director responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of a skilled nursing home. You will manage the budget, accounts payable, and department staff to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.

You will also lead the Preventative Maintenance program, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, maintain all facility equipment and grounds, and participate in Quality Improvement and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Management experience in Long Term Care Nursing Home.
• Must have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.
• Must know how to turn off main power supply, water supply, and/or gas supply to facility.
• Must be able to see small details in equipment, machinery, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable of Exposure Control Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens and Fire & Disaster Plan, and follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage budget, accounts payable, department employees, reports and required documentation.
• Oversee Preventative Maintenance program and ensure compliance according to local, state and federal regulations.
• Maintain all facility equipment in a safe and functioning manner.
• Maintain furnishings and grounds, plumbing and electrical fixtures.
• Responsible for fire safety.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and Department Head meetings.
