Job summary

The Waterford at Plano, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee daily property upkeep and safety. You will manage grounds, oversee repairs, ensure equipment operates correctly, and coordinate move-in refurbishments to keep our community welcoming for residents.

This role emphasizes safety compliance, teamwork with staff, and proactive maintenance planning to minimize downtime while supporting an exceptional living environment for residents and families in

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance preferred; familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems required.
• Experience in building safety and hazard reduction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds, including outside building repair, lawn maintenance and garbage removal.
• Maintains inside of building, offices, and common areas.
• Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use.
• Prepares apartments for move-in and refurbishing of units after move-out.
• Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by state.
